Eddie Hall has shut down the possibility of working with Thor in the future.
Strongman Eddie Hall is preparing for his next fight in the ring and it will be his MMA debut. Hall has competed as a boxer in the past when he took on fellow Strongman legend Hafthor Bjornsson. The fight did not go Hall’s way in the ring and he claims that he as not paid in full following the event.
Hall has spoken on this event in the past and has doubled down on the notion that he will not do business with Thor in the future, according to an interview with Bloody Elbow.

“I don’t think he’ll ever come back to do the rematch so let him crack on. I’m done with that f*cking d*ckhe*d. I think doing business or doing sport with a man that you hate that much is a bad idea.”
Hall was preparing to take on reigning World’s Strongest Man champion Mitchell Hooper in the ring before the event was cancelled. He is now looking for his next opponent and has his sights set on Mariusz Pudzianowski, who has experience in the ring. Like Hall, Pudzianowski is a former World’s Strongest Man who has made the transformation into a fighter.
Eddie Hall Talks Beef With Hafthor Bjornsson
The 2022 boxing match was extremely successful between Hall and Thor. The duo was promised a seven-figure payday each but Hall claims that the end of the bargain was not kept up — and he believes Bjornsson was part of it.
“We didn’t get paid for that fight. It was meant to be $1 million each and it all just fell through. I think a lot of that was people wanting guaranteed money and not relying on pay-per-views and I think he was a big brunt of that problem.”
Eddie Hall has taken on many physique transformations as well. In December, Hall challenged himself to the carnivore diet for 90 days. He shared a video on YouTube explaining his process and sharing his weight lossof 19.6 pounds. Hall shared his current weight of 350.5 pounds and body fat of just 19.9%.
While he prepares for his next match, it has brought up thoughts about Hall reuniting with Thor in the ring. Bjornsson has moved back into Strongman and has not trained as a fighter for awhile now. Because of this, along with business ventures going awry, there will not be a rematch.
“Unfortunately, the wrong man won in that circumstance but I got to punch the man in the face, which for me was a delight. He’s gone back to Strongman because he’s got nothing going for him so let him crack on.
I think it’s done. We had our discrepancies. He had a sore loser moment where he couldn’t take a loss and we had a fight about it.”
