Preparing for an MMA match requires more than just game planning. Blood, sweat, and tears will be shed as an athlete preps his mind and body for the challenge to come. As part of that preparation an MMA athlete must undergo a strength and conditioning program.

No stranger to pushing his body to the limit, UFC veteran Emil Meek has done his fair share of grueling training. Strength and conditioning was among the many preparation tools Emil Meek utilized to compete at the highest levels of the sport.

Now it seems that the UFC vet is dipping his toes into a new arena. Recently Emil Meek underwent some intense strongman style training at his gym Borgeskogen Treningssenter.
