Evan Singleton came away victorious during the event in Colorado over the weekend!
The 2025 Strongest Man on Earth competition took place over the weekend in Loveland, CO.
Some of the best competitors in the world flocked to the event to see who would be crowned champion. It was an eventful show that feature records being broken and standings being changed in the final event of the show.

Event One – Max Log Lift
Lucas Hatton kicked off the competition with a victory — as expected. Hatton completed a lift of 222.5kg, which is a new record in the American Log Lift.

Event Two – Frame into Arm-over-Arm
The second even was a two-part challenge. Competitors were asked to carry a frame weighing 375kg (826.7lb) before completing an arm-over-arm pull. This was a chance for competitors to show off their grip strength along with endurance. In the end, Eddie Williams was able to edge out Evan Singleton by less than one second.

Event Three – Max Weight Keg Toss
The Keg Toss was up next where competitors got the chance to see how much weight could be thrown over a bar set at 4.57 meters. The weight of the keg changed each round with five competitors reaching 75 pounds. In the end, it was Maxime Boudreault who took the next step and won the event with a throw of 80 pounds.

Event Four – Manhood Stones
The Manhood Stones ended the first day of action. Competitors were given the choice of stone to lift and would go for the max amount of reps. If an athlete completed one rep with the heaviest stone, it would trump any amount of reps with a lesser stone. That is what Bryce Johnson was able to do on his way to a win. Johnson competed two reps wit a 550-pound stone.

Event Five – Max Trap Bar Deadlift
The trap bar deadlift event kicked off the action on day two. The goal was simple — lift the most weight using a trap bar.

- Third Place – Thomas Evans, 1,057lb
- Fourth Place – Austin Andrade, 1,047lb

Event Six – Safe Carry
The Safe Carry was done in two parts. First, athletes had to carry a 544kg (1,200lb) yoke a distance of 20 feet. After that, the next yoke weighed 635kg (1,400lb) and this had to be brought back. This was a tied event but distance would be measured if an athlete did not complete the course. The top 10 athletes all moved on to the second yoke.

- Second Place – Austin Andrade, 17.94 seconds
- Third Place – Lucas Hatton, 4.98 meters with 2nd
- Fourth Place – Bryce Johnson, 4.55 with 2nd
- Fifth Place – Thomas Evans, 3.94 meters with 2nd
- Sixth Place – Evan Singleton, 1.80 meters with 2nd
- Seventh Place – Tom Stoltman, 1.31 meters with 2nd
- Eighth Place – Ondrej Fojtu, 1.25 meters with 2nd
- Ninth Place – Josh Spurgeon, 1.22 meters with 2nd
- Tenth Place – Trey Mitchell, 0.91 meters with 2nd
Event Seven – Keg Chest Press
The penultimate event of the competition was the keg chest press. This is a custom-made machine that added weight by dropping a keg each rep. Lucas Hatton completed one final rep with eight kegs to earn the victory and move into the lead.

- Second Place – Thomas Evans, 8 kegs
- Third Place – Evan Singleton, 8 kegs
- Fourth Place – Trey Mitchell, 8 kegs

Event Eight – Carry into Power Stairs
The final event of the competition would be one to decide the winner. It began with a Front Carry where competitors would pick up the weight and move it across the route. Then, athletes would complete the Power Stairs for time. Evan Singleton finished in fourth during the event but was eight seconds faster than Hatton, which was enough to move him into first.
