Vito Pirbazari was a star of Netflix’s “Dogs of Berlin.”
German bodybuilder and actor Vittorio Pirbazari passed away at 44 years old on Monday after collapsing on a treadmill in the gym.
Fellow actor and filmmaker Said Ibrahim shared the news with a heartfelt video on Instagram. The cause of death has not been confirmed yet but Ibrahim suggested that it was a heart attack.

Pirbazari burt onto the fitness scene with his appearance in Netflix’s “Dogs of Berlin.” Since then, he began building a massive following on social media, including over 90k on Instagram.
Pirbazari was recovering from a torn pec and preparing to return to the gym. He underwent surgery to repair the injury and was unable to train for 12 weeks.
“For now, I’m happy to be back in the gym and put all the focus on leg training and cardio.
Trying intervals on the treadmill right now, but since my legs are not 100% healed yet, I’m taking it slowly.
The important thing for me is only one thing, not to give up and let go and to get better day by day, week by week 💪🏼”
Recent Deaths In The Fitness Community
The tragic news about Vito Pirbazari follows a string of unfortunate deaths in the fitness world. Recently, Nigerian boxer Gabriel Oluwasegun Olanrewaju died during a fight over the weekend after collpasing in the ring mid-round. The fight was immediately stopped by the referee following the collapse before the ringside physician began adminstering aid to Olanrewaju. He was later transported to the Bukom Boxing Arena, where he passed away 30 minutes after his arrival.
Prior to that, influencer and bodybuilder Kim Woong Seo passed away on Feb. 3. Seo built a massive following on social media due to his impressive physique and overall presence in the fitness community. This includes over 43,000 on Instagram and a growing total on YouTube as well.
Vito Pirbazari was among many fitness stars that made a move into acting and used their physique to impress in many ways.
