Jake Paul is an actor, boxer, and American YouTuber who rose to fame posting videos on Vine before Twitter discontinued it. Before then, he had already amassed a staggering 5.3 million followers and billions of views in 2013. At age ten, he and his brother Logan Paul always made videos of themselves playing pranks.
Paul then launched his YouTube channel, which ranked high on the Forbes list as one of the highest-paid YouTuber content creators in 2017, 2018, 2021, and 2023. In 2022, Paul was also named the third highest-paid athlete.
Between 2016 and 2017, Disney hired Paul to play Dirk Mann in Bizaardvark. However, in the middle of filming the second season, Jake Paul parted ways with Disney to focus more on his personal brand.
Jake Paul has also tried his hands in music. From 2017 to 2020, he released several singles and launched his media company, TeamDot, with one million in funding from investors. 2022 started another phase of Jake Paul’s career. That year, he earned about $38 million from streams and three boxing matches, making him one of Forbes’ highest-paid athletes. Later that year, Paul also appeared in a WWE main event, WWE Crown Jewel. He helped his brother, Logan Paul, who was in a match with Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
At the beginning of 2023, Paul signed a contract with the Professional Fighters League and was named the “Head of Fighter Advocacy.” He’s also been learning Brazilian jiu-jitsu in anticipation of his MMA debut.
