GI WORKOUT SONG OF THE WEEK 5/26

Generation Iron Workout Song August Burns Red

The long weekend is over. It’s time to get back to work.

Memorial Day has come and gone, celebrating our fallen heroes who gave their lives to protect our virtues. It’s an important holiday that highlights the sacrifices that are made by some brave individuals in order to ensure a better future for our country. Besides remembrances and parades, barbeques are also a mainstay of the holiday, which means some potentially horrible food choices. It almost doesn’t feel right not to have a cheeseburger at a Memorial Day weekend barbeque, but if you’re on a cut then you probably set yourself back a few steps with some weekend indulgence. So now that the long weekend has past it’s time to get back to work and back on the grind. Get in the gym, watch your macro and calorie intake, and maintain your summer body goals.

This song will get you fired up in the gym to get all the gains you seek. We all know that a great workout song has that moment that builds up and then explodes – allowing you to explode as well and slam down the weights. Well this song from August Burns Red has about 5 moments like that. “Thirty and Seven” is a high intensity track off the group’s album, Constellations, that’s sure to put some adrenaline into your lifts.
