๐Ÿคฐ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ I was strong then, but Iโ€™m getting stronger now – but in in different ways. I have an utmost respect and admiration for mothers. Growing a human isnโ€™t easy and neither is raising them (which Iโ€™ll soon be experiencing myself). ๐Ÿ˜ As my due date draws nearer I find myself feeling nervous about giving birth & wonder whether I can do it. I try to overpower those negative thoughts with positive affirmations such as: โ€œI am strong and capable – I was made for thisโ€, and โ€œI trust my body and look forward to seeing what Iโ€™m truly capable ofโ€. . I always try to be positive, yet realistic and honest with you and sometimes I doubt myself and my capabilities. . I am so blessed to have the support from you amazing people who are constantly offering advice to me as I become a mother. Youโ€™re all SO helpful & kind. This is all new to me (obviously) and when something is new it can be scary – even though I have never been happier or more excited in my life. So thank you, I truly appreciate you sticking by me through this and Iโ€™m looking forward to sharing my journey to getting my fitness back with you – when Iโ€™m ready of course! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜˜ . P.S. Lifting weights makes me feel strong and confident! Don't be fooled by those uneducated people who go around saying "weights make women big and muscly like a man" and dish out many other nasty criticisms. Weights rock, they make me feel strong and more "womanly" than ever and gave me the shape I always wanted! It's important to do what makes you happy and do what makes you feel your best. If you don't like lifting weights then don't, but don't not do it because of what someone else says or thinks or because you think you'll get massive.. It's just not true! – Some people like to put other people down who are making positive changes in their lives and I think it's really sad!
