Sources Claim Hadi Choopan Has Received Visa, Will Compete at the Olympia

Hadi Choopan reportedly receives visa.

According to a number of sources, it appears that Hadi Choopan has indeed received his visa and will be able to compete at the 2020 Olympia.

A number of foreign based outlets have been stating that Hadi Choopan has successfully earned his visa. While Choopan himself has yet to confirm his status, with so many outlets reporting on this, things look good for the Iranian bodybuilder.

With the Olympia just days away, Hadi Choopan will just barely make the cut to compete at the show. With news just breaking that Roelly Winklaar would be out of the Olympia, it seemed that Choopan was next on the chopping block. Luckily for the Iranian bodybuilder that appears not to be the case.

KuwaitBodybuilding reposted this video from the bodybuilder’s Instagram with an interesting caption.

Word on the street is @hadi_choopan got his visa. Still hearing both ways. Can anyone confirm?

The only clue that we’ve gotten from Hadi Choopan personally is this statement he put out on his Instagram. While he mentions his regrets that Roelly Winklaar will be unable to compete, Choopan states that he still has a chance to fight for victory at the show.

Very sad news and dark day for me brother Roelly.

No one else can feel your pain as much as I do. We are almost in the same situation but for different reasons except I can still fight for my chance. I know you brought and prepared totally different package but…

Relax and enjoy your time brother. Never mind. Speedy recovery brother.

Hope to See you all in 2021!

Hopefully Hadi Choopan has indeed received his visa and will be at the big show. Generation Iron will continue to follow this story as it develops.
