Hafthor Bjornsson is back in the gym.

The global health crisis has effected everyone across the globe. Whether that means you caught the virus or you simply faced quarantine and lockdown, the whole experience has been trying for everyone.

There have a great many people who have passed away since the spread of the virus. So when Hafthor Bjornsson became sick it raised a great deal of concern.

Strength Wars Movie

The Icelandic strongman recently competed in an exhibition boxing match in prep for his battle with rival Eddie Hall. All seemed fine and Hafthor Bjornsson performed well in the match. But it was only in the aftermath that the world discovered that the 2018 World’s Strongest Man contracted the virus at some point after the match.

While there was a level of uncertainty as to how Hafthor would make out after getting sick, we know now that he’s made a full recovery. Below we see that strongman has recovered and is back in the gym.

I’m finally fully in the clear and out of quarantine, so it was time to go back to work! I’m making sure not to start off too fast though, since full recovery still takes some time and patience, but super excited to be back and ready to grind again! ? This was my second session of today. This morning I did some boxing technique and now some work in the gym ?

What do you make of Hafthor Bjornsson making a return to training?
