Hafthor Bjornsson and Brian Shaw show some major weight loss.

Hafthor Bjornsson and Brian Shaw were at one time the kings of the strongman scene. Now both men have transitioned into a new stage of their career. Hafthor Bjornsson is pursuing his boxing venture while Brian Shaw is promoting shows and still training hard.

But what the two have in common besides being strongman elites is that they’ve lost quite a bit of weight.

Strength Wars Movie

Hafthor Bjornsson has been looking pretty trim, shedding the fat while maintaining his muscle. He’s replaced a lot of his heavy lifting with boxing training, jumping rope and hitting mitts. Here we see Bjornsson jumping rope and stating his weight to be 157kg/346lbs.

First time trying double unders. Body weight still 157kg. I’m getting in a better conditioning shape for sure. Few more months and I’ll be in the best overall shape I’ve been in my life for sure. ?

Brian Shaw has also been hard at work in an attempt to improve his health and physique. The four-time WSM champ has been upping his conditioning and trimming down tremendously.

“As part of this little experiment, I’ve had to change up my training a little bit. By changing my training, I mean I’m throwing in more conditioning work, I do a little more circuit workouts, things like that,” said Shaw.

“I’ll be honest, I have not seen 385 on a scale in I can’t even tell you how long.”
