Henry Cavill Wants To Help You Stay In Shape From Home

Are you looking to keep up with a Superman-ready physique in quarantine?

Then look no further than ex-Superman Henry Cavill, who is a huge fitness buff off-screen and is challenging fans to join him on a virtual 13K marathon during quarantine. Henry Cavill seems to be a fan of all things workout-related and often tells fans about his struggles getting motivated to do cardio, which is apparently his least favorite. He also appears to have an affinity for bodybuilding.

“It’s absolutely fascinating to see what they put themselves through, the drive and mental strength required to get to such a place physically,” Cavill said in a recent post. “Phil Heath in particular has caught my eye, not only for his achievements but also for his genuinely humble and informative approach to his messaging.”

Since gathering together to all run a marathon in one city seems ill-timed right now, Cavill has opted to do the run by himself on Saturday and is encouraging fans to do the same. It’s bigger than fitness for Cavill, who also says that raising awareness about the negative impacts of climate change on the environment. The race is sponsored by the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, which benefits the protection and conservation of endangered species around the world. If you’re interested in donating or participating, you can do so remotely and stage your own wherever you like and donate the proceeds. It might not be all the fun of an in-person marathon, but the silver lining is that now people all over the country can participate however they want to! If you’re out of shape after quarantining for a long period of time, this could be a great way to get yourself back out there.
