How Many Olympia Wins Will Phil Heath Have? Jay Cutler’s Answer May Surprise You

Former king weighs in on the current king.

Phil Heath is the reigning Mr. Olympia, the king of all bodybuilding. While he may have many haters and fans alike, there’s no denying that Phil Heath is currently the best bodybuilder in the world. There are a ton of different competitors that would beg to differ, namely Dexter Jackson, Shawn Rhoden, and Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay. These contenders have all acquitted themselves well as they battle to dethrone the current king, but have still fallen short. It makes you wonder just how far Phil Heath can really go.

The record for most Olympia wins is held by Lee Haney and Ronnie Coleman, two bodybuilders who dominated the competition when they were at the top of their game. Much like Coleman and Haney, Phil Heath has managed to destroy the competition for the most part. But recent showings indicate that the other contenders in the top five of the division are beginning to close the gap and catch up to Heath. We’ve also seen signs of the current Mr. Olympia being a bit off of his game, most evident in 2015. Despite that he still managed to get the win. With a return to form in 2016, it’s becoming more and more difficult to envision any one of the current contenders being able to defeat Phil Heath. It’s an ideology that seems to be holding true for former Mr. Olympia and long time bodybuilding veteran Jay Cutler.

With four Olympia titles under his belt, it’s safe to say that Jay Cutler knows a thing or two about winning the biggest competition in bodybuilding. Now retired, Jay Cutler offers advise and gives his critique on the current landscape of bodybuilding. One point of interest is how many Olympia titles will Phil Heath be able to capture. Jay Cutler recently taped a video response that breaks down exactly how far he thinks Heath will go.
