What’s in store for the new IFBB Pro?
Navigating the world of sports can be a tremendously difficult task. When you put everything together you realize how many shifts in power there are in a given sport, yet in bodybuilding it seems a bit more straight forward. For the most part we understand who the best in the world is in their respective division and most fans and pundits don’t foresee major changes shaking up the line up. But if this past March’s Arnold Classic in Ohio is any indication, you never quite know when a new up and comer will begin to make some waves. That’s exactly what little known pro Josh Lenartowicz proved by coming in third place.

The Arnold Classic Brasil taking place this past weekend, a talented amateur bodybuilder in Regan Grimes finally obtained his IFBB pro card after years of training, dieting, and dedication to his craft. With so many young athletes turning pro, you can’t help bet wonder which one of these young guns will end up being the future of the sport. Grimes is only 22 years old which means he has tons of time to grow. But so far, Grimes has cultivated a physique that should put most pros on their toes as another young hungry lion looks to make his name in the sport.
Under the tutelage of Chris Aceto, Grimes has been building a body that is not only well muscled, but proportioned. Grimes has symmetry and balance in his physique and look that is reminiscent of the classic physiques of old. Take a look at the Instagram post below that showed Grimes’ physique just before stepping out on stage and earning his pro card.
How far do you think Regan Grimes can go?
