Jackman has spoken about this prep and explained how it is a six-month process that includes a strict diet and workout plan. There is an increase in protein intake while hitting big-time workouts. This leads to the impressive physique that Jackman displays on the big screen.

Despite the massive amount of muscle mass added, Jackman has talked about doing it the old-fashioned way.

“I LOVE MY JOB, AND I LOVE WOLVERINE. I GOT TO BE CAREFUL WHAT I SAY HERE, BUT I HAD BEEN TOLD ANECDOTALLY WHAT THE SIDE EFFECTS ARE OF THAT. AND I WAS LIKE, ‘I DON’T LOVE IT THAT MUCH.’ SO NO, I JUST DID IT THE OLD SCHOOL WAY.”

Hugh Jackman is in the midst of his prep and doing it the only way he knows how. The results are there and will only continue to get better.
