Bodybuilding is always on the move. There can be an absolutely dominant champion who turns away all challengers, establishes themselves as the unquestioned greatest in the world, and hold the position of number one for several years.
Then the new kid on the block enters the scene and upsets the balance.
There are plenty of champions that remained on top only to eventually find themselves being knocked from their perch by another impressive athlete.
As it stands now, Brandon Curry is atop the heap in the Open Weight division, dominating at the 2019 Olympia. But like Phil Heath, Jay Cutler, Ronnie Coleman, and many others before him, the landscape in the division can change drastically at the drop of a hat.
Enter Patrick Moore.
While he may have been a newcomer to the Olympia stage, Patrick Moore acquitted himself well in his debut at the biggest show in bodybuilding. He showcased that he has all the potential in the world to one day become an Olympia champion in his own right.
As he prepares for the 2020 Arnold Classic, Patrick Moore is showcasing exactly what makes him a top contender in the Open Weight division. The Instagram posts below showcase just how incredibly physically gifted Patrick Moore is and why he may be the contender that every top five bodybuilder should keep their eye on.

Sent out progress pics to @therealtechnician today…..14 weeks out from @arnoldsports. There wasn’t a crazy jump in weight after @mrolympiallc…..and it never is for me. We’re starting this prep at a lower weight than the last, so we may actually be able to grow into this contest. All efforts are geared toward bigger legs and back, not just overall size. Definitely looking forward to my first #arnoldclassic! If you guys haven’t already, check out the YouTube channel for recent content! Have a great weekend!💪🏼 #newblood #mooremuscle #teamlabrada #teamaceto #bodybuilding #ifbb #flexfriday
