Sadik is bulking up for the new division.
Many people have viewed today’s bodybuilding as more of a freak show contest than the competitive competition that was revered in it’s heyday. The Golden Era of bodybuilding is referred to as such for more than just a couple of reasons. The physiques, the atmosphere, the judging criteria, everything was different back in the day.
Where emphasis on massive muscle is the focus of today’s bodybuilders, back then you had to focus more on building a better V-Taper, a more aesthetic physique. So when the IFBB announced that they were creating a new division that would harken back to the days of yore, many bodybuilding fans and aficionados rejoiced. The debut of the Classic Physique Division is already being talked about as one of the more anticipated events of the 2016 season. Many fans are already wondering who will join the ranks of the new division, whether it be new blood or current IFBB pros with solid credentials.

We’ve talked about who we think would prove to be the most dominant in this newly created division. Names like Calum von Moger, Steve Cook, and Artemis Dolgin were thrown around right at the outset of the division’s creations. But many have looked to Sadik Hadzovik as the man who will reign supreme over this new category.
The Men’s Physique competitor has been bulking up ever since the last Mr. Olympia competition, leading many to believe that Hadzovik would be making a shift. Now the time for speculation is over and Sadik is confirming the rumors.
