Jarrad Young Smashes The Guinness World Record for Push-Ups In 1 Hour

A new world record was set for the most push-ups in one hour by Jarrad Young.

Jarrad Young has been working on his push-ups long before the pandemic arrived. In fact Young, mastered the exercise enough to earn a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Jarrad Young is a fitness trainer from Australia with the goal of leaving his own mark on history. The manner in which he chose to do this was by scrutinizing his push-ups abilities. He wanted to utilize these capacities to attempt to do the most push-ups in 60 minutes, winning a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records if fruitful.

In August of 2018, Jarrad Young ventured to the Matrix Boxing Gym, in Queensland, for one goal: break the push-up world record. The record he was attempting to beat was 2,682 push-ups, a number hit by Carlton Williams in 2017. As the video, which was recently uncovered, illustrates, Jarrad figured out how to blow directly past that number, hitting a stunning 2,806 push-ups.

During the video, you can see Young hitting 15 reps and taking breathers in between each. He also stops occasionally to get a drink, rest a bit, and prepare for more. With the process Young decided to use, he was able to beat the previous record by an unbelievable 124 reps.

Remember that Jarrad Young set this record back in 2018 and it still stands to this day. Now that we are at home, people have been taking to social media and starting a push-up challenge. This leaves room for someone to come after his record. It will not be easy though. It takes a lot of control, endurance and the willingness to surpass your limits.
