JEFF SEID MAKING IFBB RETURN BUT HOW WILL HE STACK UP?

Generation Iron Jeff Seid IFBB Return

Jeff Seid is bringing himself back to life.

In the bodybuilding and fitness industries you’ll see many talented athletes who come and go. Some reach super stardom, become the face of the industry, while others fade away into obscurity never to be heard from again. The same can be said about athletes who compete as well. Many athletes make it to the pro level but fail to make that major impression on the both the fans and the judges. After a handful of experiences they leave the competitive scene in hopes of exploring other endeavors. This seemed to be the case for a certain popular figure in the fitness industry.

Jeff Seid was once praised as a young up and comer, a potential force to be reckoned with in the Men’s Physique division in the IFBB. In fact Jeff Seid competed in the first ever Men’s Physique competition at the 2013 Olympia. But after competing at the 2014 Olympia, Jeff Seid has been absent from the IFBB pro stage for almost two years now, leading many to believe the young bodybuilder had decided to call it quits on his competitive career.

Since then Seid has been all over social media, creating videos and advertising for his many business ventures. It seemed that Seid was content to go another route with his fitness career, but recent developments suggest that may not be the case. The Instagram posting below indicates that Jeff Seid will be making a return to the IFBB pro stage.

But the big question remains – how will Jeff Seid stack up against the competition. Jeff is mostly known for his extraordinary body transformation and being one of the youngest people to ever become an IFBB Pro. These are truly amazing feats to be proud of… but will these be his last accolades? Or will he take home some champion trophies in the IFBB?

Last we saw him in the 2014 Mr. Olympia he placed 13th place. But we must remember that was only his second Mr. Olympia. Time often leads to improvement – especially with someone like Jeff Seid who started competing pro at such a young age. But while Jeff’s been keeping in shape and has more years under his belt, the 2 year break might prove more than enough to set him back in terms of placing.

Will we live in a world where Jeff Seid one day becomes a threat to someone like Jeremy Buendia? Let us know in the comments and follow Generation Iron on Facebook and Twitter. Also, be sure to share, like, and comment to show your support.
