Jesse James West has helped answer many questions in the fitness world using his extremely successful social media platform. Recently, he answered another one involving strength, Female Bodybuilders or World’s Strongest Dwarfs?
In this article we detail how two teams joined West for a unorthodox competition that feature six events, and an eventual tiebreaker, that tested strength between Dwarfs and female bodybuilders in many ways.

Barbell Squats
The competition began with barbell squats. One athlete from each side stepped up to the bar, loaded with 135 pounds, and completed one rep before adding another plate. For the females, it was Demyya Welch and Lorenzo Jordan on the other side.
The weight continued to go up until it reached 500 pounds. For Welch, this was a new PR and where she ended. Jordan added six plates to get to 585 pounds and secure the win for the strongest dwarfs.
G Wagon Pull
The second event of the day was the G Wagon pull. Each side had two athletes strapped to the vehicle and had to pull it across the finish line. For the dwarfs, Jeremy Smith and Daniel Rhodes completed the challenge in 19:39.
The female bodybuilders selected Natasha Burnz and Emily Nelson. They earned their first victory by completing the course in 19:23.
Mas Wrestling
Was Wrestling was next. Each side would grab onto the bar and attempt to pull it away from their opponent. Round one went to Lucie Tabathia Morris on the females’ side before a wrinkle was thrown in.
Jesse James West stepped in for the men to go against Natasha Burnz. West came away with the win to even up the round. The final matchup was Brittany Best and Tom Agnew. Best won the hard-fought battle and gave the bodybuilders a 2-1 lead.
Deadlift Gauntlet
The Deadlift Gauntlet was next on the list. It was five bars set up with the weight increasing by 90 pounds each lift. Brittany Best stepped up for the females while Lorenzo Jordan took on his second challenge.
Best stalled at 315 pounds before getting some help from her teammates. Jordan cruise through the first four rounds before attempting a 495-pound lift. He could not lock it out but still earned a win to tie the score after four events.
Tug Of War & Wrestling
The next two events took on the same format. It was three rounds of Tug Of War and Wrestling.
First, the Tug Of War was where Demyya Welch stepped up. She commented on how she would have been able to win the deadlift gauntlet if she was at full strength and healthy. She made up for it in the Tug Of War, earning a win for the female bodybuilders.
The Wrestling format was also three rounds — 1v1, 3v3, and 5v5. The goal was to get your opponent down on the ground or get them out of the circle. The dwarfs dominated this round to tie the score once again.
Tiebreaker
The competition ended with a tiebreaker. Each side selected one member to run a course where they had to carry a member of the opposing team on their shoulders. In the end, the dwarfs came away victorious.
