Joseph Baena Pays Homage to Arnold Schwarzenegger Portraying Conan the Barbarian

Joseph Baena looks just like his father Arnold Schwarzenegger in Conan the Barbarian costume.

Joseph Baena, son of the legendary bodybuilder, actor, and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger, recently paid homage to his father dressing up as Conan the Barbarian. The role made iconic by Schwarzenegger served as inspiration for one of Baena’s latest social media posts.

Joseph Baena is a chip off the old block. Inspired by his father, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Baena has fully embraced the bodybuilding lifestyle. Baena looks very much like his father physically, aided by having the genetics of the all-time great bodybuilder. As such, Baena has been pushing himself in training in hopes of building a high-quality physique reminiscent of Schwarzenegger.

Whether it’s embracing old school training or adopting classic posing into his routine, Joseph Baena seems intent on not only paying homage to his father, but also becoming the best bodybuilder he can be. Baena has also shown an interest in acting like his father before him and has taken a number of roles in recent years.

But when he isn’t hitting the gym or acting in movies, you can be sure that Joseph Baena is looking for some interesting angle to get the bodybuilding world talking. The most recent example of this is his latest homage to Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Arnold the Icon

The seven-time Mr. Olympia and one of the most popular actors of the 80s and 90s, Arnold Schwarzenegger has played a number of iconic roles. Whether it was Predator or his most popular role as the Terminator, Schwarzenegger has left quite the impression on Hollywood. One of those iconic roles was also that of the sword and sorcery character Conan the Barbarian. The character originally created by Robert E. Howard was brought to the screen back in 1982 with Schwarzenegger portraying the iconic character.

Joseph the Barbarian

In a recent post to social media, Joseph Baena took a few strides in his father’s footsteps and took on the iconic character himself. Baena recently dressed up as Conan the Barbarian looking eerily similar to his father.

I had a little too much fun in tonight’s costume ????

Joseph Baena was able to pull off the look that Arnold Schwarzenegger made iconic. While he may be carving out his own path, it’s great to see Baena pay homage to his father which we can clearly see is one of his heroes.

What do you think of Joseph Baena paying homage to Arnold Schwarzenegger and the iconic Conan the Barbarian?
