Like the real life Avengers, our superhuman band of bodybuilders assembled yesterday on Fox 5’s Good Day New York to talk about Mr. Olmpia and bodybuilding as a whole.
After an impromptu pose off Juan Morel, Sadik Hadzovick, and Juliana Malacarne spill to the morning show hosts about the hours they have to slave in the gym as well as their personal lives. For example, did you know Sadik was not only a full time builder but a full time property manager for a large part of brooklyn? And I thought I was busy.
Flex/Muscle magazine Chief content editor Shawn Perine was also in attendance to give the audience a crash course on the sport as well as dishing about the 1.1 million dollars in prize money and the 1/4 million dollars the winner of Mr. O stands to gain. We love pieces like this here at Gen Iron because it brings bodybuilding to the mainstream. No more “are we the secret freaks of yester-year” but a legitimized sport that’s growing faster than football, basketball, or baseball. What do you think?
