Julius Maddox Gets Ready for a Second Attempt at the 800 Lbs Bench Press

Julius Maddox isn’t done with the 800 Lbs bench press.

Julius Maddox tried to make history a few weeks back. The powerlifter attempted to bench press 800 Lbs raw. We all know how that turned out.

Yes, Maddox may have failed at the 800 Lbs bench press, but it’s nothing to be ashamed of. Maddox has shown superhuman strength in past, as well as a willingness to never give up. That force of will is proving to be indomitable.

Julius Maddox is set on once again attempting the 800 Lbs raw bench press.

Rather than hang his head in shame, take his ball and go home, Julius Maddox has instead decided to tackle the feat again. Maddox didn’t take the failed attempt as a sign to give up. Instead, the powerlifter is looking at it as a learning experience, a mere speed bump on the road to greatness.

Julius Maddox already has the record at 770 lbs, but that’s not enough for him. He has his sights set on 800 Lbs and nothing is deterring him from the challenge.
