Julius Maddox is on the hunt for 800lbs.

Achieving greater strength is the ultimate goal of a powerlifter. That kind of drive and determination has pushed athletes like Larry Wheels to being one of the greatest lifters in the modern era. But he isn’t the only powerlifter out there with a tremendous amount of strength and ambition.

Julius Maddox has also proven to be very ambitious in his powerlifting journey.

Smashing through bench press records has become the calling card of Julius Maddox. Maddox has always looked to break records and achieve greatness through action. While he may have failed at his most recent attempt at the 800lb bench press, the powerlifter is once again looking to attempt the challenge.

On his road back to the 800lb bench press, Julius Maddox has been training hard and consistently. In a recent video the powerlifter hefted 675lbs for three reps and made it look easy.

Can Julius Maddox break his own bench press world record with an 800lb lift?
