Justin Compton is looking more like a veteran with each showing.

When the 2016 Olympia arrives fans can expect to see some of the most impressive bodybuilders in the world bring their greatest physical forms in order to challenge the current number one bodybuilder in the world, Phil Heath. Ever since seizing the Olympia title back in 2011 from Jay Cutler, Heath has been undefeated and is looking to remain that way this September.

Kai Greene’s exit from the Olympia last year left Phil Heath unchallenged save for the standouts in the top five. This year however there is a ton of intrigue involved, particularly with the emergence of veteran bodybuilder Kevin Levrone. The competition should surely be interesting this year. Dexter Jackson is looking better than ever, Levrone is set for his return, and Heath is as confident as ever. But what about the competitors outside of the top five? Is there no one else out there that can challenge Phil Heath and the top of the division?

Though he may not have had the most impressive year so far, Justin Compton is a man who, despite his youth, is already reaching veteran status. His muscle maturity is growing with every passing event and Compton is growing more and more impressive as time goes on. It’s truly a remarkable thing to watch someone improve from year to year and Compton is looking to battle it out for the long haul. After all, Kevin Levrone has even stated that one day Justin Compton would have what it takes to potentially dethrone the Olympia. Whether Phil Heath will be that individual or if it will be Levrone himself, one thing is certain; Justin Compton has only just begun his climb to the top and has the potential to become an all time great.
