Kai Greene to Star in New Indian Film, Will Not Compete for the Foreseeable Future

Kai Greene to star in new Indian film project.

Kai Greene has landed another acting role, this time starring in an Indian production. In the movie titled Pogaru, Kai Greene will be playing a villain opposite the main lead played by Dhruva Sarja. Directed by Nanda Kishore and produced by Gangana, Jagadamba Production house, the film is that set for release in early 2020.


Currently Kai Greene is on location in India to film his scenes from now and throughout September.  Filming this role confirms that Kai is out of the 2019 Mr. Olympia, shutting down rumors that the bodybuilding veteran could compete at the show. The bodybuilder is also in India to launch a chain of Dynamik Gyms alongside Viva Fitness, one of the country’s most popular equipment brands.

Recently making it onto the Power 30 List for the third consecutive year, Kai Greene continues to show why he’s such an influential figure in bodybuilding. A multifaceted talent who continues to explore his options in film and other creative endeavors, expect to see a whole lot more of Kai Greene on the big and small screens in 2020.
