Kirill Tereshin spoke on his current state following the surgery.
Russian influencer Kirill Tereshin is known as “Bazooka Arms” and for the unusual size of his biceps. Tereshin, who has been given the nickname ‘Popeye,’ has been using large amounts of synthol in his arms to reach a certain size and shape. Despite being told that he is risking his life with these substances, Tereshin continued to do so but recently had to undergo an operation to drain his biceps.

Tereshin recently shared his status after undergoing a drain operation on his arm.
“The bazooka here, it’s been operated on, so you don’t think it’s an old video and so on. I don’t know what else I’ll be filming, I always enjoy life. If I’m not showing, it doesn’t mean that.”
Tereshin began injecting his biceps in 2017 and quickly gained attention because of the freaky-looking size this brought to his arms. His biceps blew up around 24 inches and quickly dubbed the nickname Russian ‘Popeye.’
In March 2021, Tereshin underwent a surgery to have some of the oils removed from his arms. It might seem like a silly choice to begin with but Tereshin was focused on adding size and did not think about the long-term effects. Later that year, he was told that he was risking death if he did not remove petroleum jelly from his biceps.

Kirill Tereshin Previously Denied Fatal Infection
In November, reports came out that Kirill Tereshin was in danger of losing both arms due to a severe infection. This began after he shared footage of his bicep after a “burst” that left a hole with what seemed to be rotting tissue. Tereshin quickly made a video and denied these claims that he was in risk of losing his arms.
“Everything is fine with me. The tests went really well. My arms are well enough for skin graft surgery. It will happen this week. They made up this false information. Before you listen to the Internet, first find out whether it’s true or not and don’t listen to these fairy tales.”
Kirhill Tereshin Has Injected Synthol into Biceps
Kirill Tereshin was a featured subject in “BIGOREXIA”. The film was a documentary exploring the psychological condition known as Muscle Dysmorphia – or Bigorexia. It’s a condition where no matter how large a person becomes (whether it’s fat, muscle, etc), they believe they are too small. So they go to extreme lengths to keep adding on weight.
Tereshin was featured for his use of synthol to artificially expand his muscle. This is an oil that hardens inside the body and can create cartoonish looking muscles — like the biceps of Tereshin. He was filmed in Russia and interviewed about his lifestyle and mindset using synthol.
