Vissers spoke following the workout about his experience with Wheels. He shared that Wheels would be doing a show in five weeks. According to the caption of the video, this was shot during the weekend of the Fibo Championships.
“Chest, side delt, and tricep workout with Larry Wheels. A very humble man that is going to do a show in five weeks. He looks actually even better than I expected. Very bubbly, very full. Much more improved then what I remember seeing you, of course on the internet but of course in real life, it’s much more extraordinary.”
At the beginning of the month, Wheels hit a posing session with Urs Kalecinski. Wheels was competing in the Classic Physique division during his first stint of competing. It is clear that this will once again be his choice moving forward.

Larry Wheels’ Bodybuilding Journey
Wheels made his initial push for his Pro Card in 2023. He finished as the runner-up at the Amateur Olympia and came close to accomplishing his final goal. Wheels was on his way to becoming a pro but announced that he would be ending his time as a bodybuilder after a relapse on steroids. He went back to training like a powerlifter and pursuing other goals, such as deadlifting 1,000 pounds.
Larry Wheels initially went off PEDs after a trip to the doctors to get his health checked. He has been off substances since the start of 2023 but admitted to going back on a cycle in 2024. At the time, Wheels shared that his decision to pursue bodybuilding did not come from a genuine place. Instead, it was to build his brand and bring eyeballs back onto him. Because of this, he has decided to withdraw from the show he was preparing for.
If Wheels is truly competing in May, many fans will have their eyes on the competition as he works to become the next IFBB Pro.
