There are many actors in Hollywood that have kept their physique in top shape and have had to transform in order to play different roles. Marlon Wayans might not come to mind immediately but the actor and comedian has been sharing different workout videos recently. In his latest video, Wayans detailed a call to action leg day training routine.

Wayans is part of a comedic family that has seen much success in many avenues. Marlon, along with his brothers Shawn, Damon, and Keenen, have been featured on the big screen, in television shows, and on stage doing comedy routines.

Marlon Wayans has been featured in movies such as White Chicks, Little Man, and the Scary Movie series. He has taken on man different roles but quickly became known for his outgoing, enthusiastic style. He has built a following of over six million on Instagram and has been sharing different workout videos.

Marlon Wayans: “Don’t Be A Gorilla-Keet”

Marlon Wayans recently hit leg day for his latest video. During the workout, he spoke to his followers urging them to keep up with leg-day training to even out their physiques.

“To all you out there, don’t just do chest and arms and back. Get your legs. All the brother out there, get your legs. Don’t be a gorilla-keet. Gorilla on top and parakeet on the bottom. White people ain’t gotta be the only ones with calves. Black folks, we may have to run again. Get your legs and calves right.”

The idea of training legs is something that is socially “skipped” over the course of the week. According to Marlon Wayans, this should stop. He made a call-to-action urging those to continue lower-body training.
