Marvel Comics Legend Stan Lee Has Died At Age 95

Stan Lee was responsible for creating & co-creating many massive superheroes that inspired future bodybuilders around the world.

TMZ reports that Stan Lee was rushed out of his Hollywood Hills home early Monday and brought to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He later died in the hospital. Stan Lee was 95 years old.

Stan Lee might not have a direct connection with bodybuilding – but was indirectly responsible for many bodybuilding legends in the industry. He created or co-created many muscle bound heroes such as The Hulk, Thor, and the X-Men (along with more calisthenic style heroes such as Spider-Man).

Stan started Marvel with Jack Kirby in 1961 with the creation of The Fantastic Four. He went on to become a comic book legend and is one of the most recognized faces for superheroes and comic books.
