Nick Walker Wins 2026 Mr. Olympia, Then Makes Emotional Promise To His Parents
Nick Walker is officially the 2026 Mr. Olympia champion, and after reaching the pinnacle of bodybuilding, he revealed that his victory means much more than simply adding another major title to his career. In a post victory interview with Beyond The Stage TV, Nick Walker announced that he plans to use his Olympia prize money to pay off his parents’ debt and make sure they can finally live without financial stress.
The 2026 Mr. Olympia represented the culmination of years of hard work for Nick Walker. After several seasons of setbacks, injuries, criticism, and difficult moments, Walker finally reached the top of the sport by winning the prestigious Mr. Olympia title.
But during his post-victory interview, Walker made it clear that he was not thinking only about himself.
Instead, Walker immediately turned his attention toward the two people who have supported him since the beginning of his bodybuilding career: his parents.
Nick Walker Says His Parents Were With Him From Day One
Nick Walker became emotional while discussing the role his parents played throughout his bodybuilding journey. According to the new Mr. Olympia champion, his parents remained by his side through every major high and low of his career.
“My parents have been with me on this journey since day one,” Walker said. “Since the day I told them I want to start bodybuilding they’ve been by my side through the entire thing.”
Walker explained that their support never disappeared, even when his career reached some of its most difficult moments.
“Through every up, through every down. No matter how hard it got. Trust me my man, it got hard as f*ck. But they never left my side,” Walker continued. “These two have been with me through thick through thin, through ups and downs, through losses.”
The journey was not always guaranteed to reach the Mr. Olympia stage. Walker revealed that there was even a point in his career when he considered walking away from bodybuilding altogether.
“There was a time when I was even going to give up bodybuilding if I didn’t turn pro in 2020,” Walker said.
Now, six years later, Walker has gone from contemplating leaving the sport to becoming its biggest champion.
Nick Walker Promises To Pay Off His Parents’ Debt
The most emotional moment came when Walker revealed what he intends to do with his Olympia victory.
Rather than simply celebrating his own achievement, Walker told his parents that he plans to use his prize money to eliminate their debt.
“Everyone says I should do this for me. It’s impossible to do that for me with parents that I have and winning this Olympia is allowing me to give back,” Walker said.
Walker then delivered a message directly to his parents.
“So I want both of you to know – I am paying off all you debt and I am going to make sure that you guys can breath in peace for now on.”
Walk and his parents then shared an emotional embrace that will certainly be the capper of this fantastic moment of victory. The moment highlighted just how significant the victory was for Walker and his family. After years of supporting his bodybuilding career, his parents will now directly benefit from the success that Walker achieved on the Olympia stage.
Nick Walker’s Parents React To His Olympia Victory
Walker’s parents were also asked about their son becoming the 2026 Mr. Olympia champion.
His mother expressed her disbelief and pride after watching Walker finally accomplish his goal.
“I am just over the moon about it. I can’t believe it. I was just shocked,” Nick Walker’s mother said. “He deserved it. He worked so so hard this year. He deserves everything he has.”
Walker’s father echoed those sentiments and emphasized the amount of work his son put into his Olympia preparation.
“He worked so hard for this it’s not even funny,” Walker’s father said. “We’ve seen him put in the sweat, the drive, the grind.”
His father also praised Walker for transforming himself throughout his preparation and ultimately bringing his best package to the 2026 Olympia.
“He took what he had and he made it perfect. Because he’s number one. And nobody is ever going to take that from him. He deserves this win.”
For Walker, those words appeared to carry as much meaning as the Olympia trophy itself.
Prabh Dhaliwal Helped Nick Walker Rediscover His Love For Bodybuilding
Walker also credited his new coach, Prabh Dhaliwal, for playing a major role in his 2026 Olympia preparation.
The relationship between the two goes beyond the traditional athlete-coach dynamic. Walker explained that he and Dhaliwal were friends before Dhaliwal officially took over his preparation.
“Prabh is my best friend. We started out as friend before I let him take over the reigns,” Walker said.
According to Walker, Dhaliwal helped him reconnect with the version of himself that originally fell in love with bodybuilding while also helping him develop into a more mature athlete.
“He brought me back to what I used to be. But a better version of that,” Walker explained.
Walker also emphasized that his mindset heading into the 2026 Mr. Olympia was different.
“I’m more matured. I’m having fun again. And I just enjoy bodybuilding like a little kid again because of him,” Walker said.
Perhaps most importantly, Walker said that he was grateful for what Dhaliwal had done for him regardless of what happened on the Olympia stage.
“Win or lose tonight, I’m thankful for what he’s done for me in that sense,” Walker said.
Ultimately, Walker walked away from the 2026 Mr. Olympia with the Sandow trophy and the biggest victory of his career.
Nick Walker Teases Arnold Classic Appearance In 2027
Winning the Mr. Olympia did not appear to satisfy Walker’s competitive ambitions. Instead, the new champion immediately looked toward the future.
“The future is bright. Next is to win as many Arnold’s and Olympia’s as I possibly can now,” Walker said.
That statement naturally raised the question of whether Walker intends to compete at the 2027 Arnold Classic in March.
When asked directly if fans could expect to see him competing at the Arnold Classic, Walker gave a simple response:
“You heard it here first buddy.”
If Walker follows through on that statement, the 2027 Arnold Classic could mark his first major competition appearance after capturing the 2026 Mr. Olympia title.
For now, however, Walker can celebrate accomplishing the goal that has driven his career for years.
Nick Walker is the 2026 Mr. Olympia champion. He has reached the top of bodybuilding, reunited with the enjoyment he once had for the sport, and now plans to use his success to give back to the parents who supported him throughout the journey.
And according to Walker, this may only be the beginning.
