Dan Solomon Confirms Olympia 2025 Will Stay in Las Vegas, Promises Bigger and Better Event
In a recent episode of OlympiaTV, President Dan Solomon unveiled significant plans for the 2025 Mr. Olympia competition, confirming its return to Las Vegas. The event is set to be hosted once again at Resorts World and the Las Vegas Convention Center, building upon the successes of previous years.
Reflecting on the event’s history, Solomon noted the frequent relocations over the past six years, which included moves between Las Vegas and Orlando, as well as various venues like Planet Hollywood, Resorts World, and different convention centers. These constant changes necessitated a “reset” each year, preventing the organization from capitalizing on the momentum of previous events.
“We have not ever had the luxury in the last 6 or 7 years to hit redo,” Solomon stated. “And when you hit redo, it allows you to grow and take things to a whole nother level.”

Mr. Olympia’s Return To Vegas Holds Bigger Promises
The decision to return to Resorts World was influenced by the venue’s exceptional facilities and its ability to elevate the Olympia experience. Solomon highlighted the construction of an entire pavilion attached to the property, which hosted much of the Olympia experience. Additionally, the Las Vegas Convention Center served as a “tremendous home” for the expo, which has seen significant growth.
The theater at Resorts World, known for hosting some of the biggest acts globally, provided a world-class setting for the Olympia competitions. Solomon emphasized the unique atmosphere created for fans and the venue’s capacity to announce the event’s arrival throughout the city.
“When you walk down the strip in Las Vegas and you see all the Olympia imagery and the live videos, we even had our final post down in the announcement of our winners aired live on the side of Resorts World for the entire city of Las Vegas to watch in real time,” Solomon shared.
Looking ahead, the 2025 Olympia aims to surpass previous iterations by enhancing production quality and increasing prize money, a tradition upheld annually. However, Solomon emphasized a broader vision: integrating various facets of the fitness lifestyle into the event.
“It’s about bringing more corners of the fitness lifestyle. It’s about bringing wellness. It’s about bringing longevity. It’s about bringing anti-aging. It’s about bringing all these other elements of the world and these innovations and these technologies,” he explained.
Attendees can anticipate witnessing the world’s best athletes compete for the largest prize money to date. Beyond the competitions, the expo will showcase new technologies, innovations, and a commitment to longevity, fitness, and healthy living.
Dan Solomon Floats Idea Of Mr. Olympia Held In Stadiums
Solomon also expressed aspirations for the Olympia’s future, envisioning the event selling out entire stadiums, akin to major events like WrestleMania. He acknowledged the insatiable appetite bodybuilding fans have for the sport, citing rapid ticket sales as evidence.
“I am convinced that we can grow the venue and grow the venue and sell out arenas and sell out stadiums,” Solomon asserted. He acknowledged the unique challenges bodybuilding presents in a stadium environment but emphasized efforts to elevate the sport’s popularity and production quality.
The 2025 Mr. Olympia is poised to be a landmark event, blending top-tier athletic competition with advancements in health, wellness, and fitness technology. As preparations continue, fans and participants alike can look forward to an unparalleled experience in Las Vegas.
