Phil Heath Signs With Dany Garcia Head of Athleticon and TGC Management

Phil Heath is making a major play.

The times are shifting and changing so much these days. With the sale of the Olympia and Muscle & Fitness brands to Jake Wood, there has been a major shake up in the fitness and bodybuilding industry.

On the horizon is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Dany Garcia’s upcoming Athleticon events which are sure to provide a fresh take on fitness and bodybuilding competitions. It hopes to rival not only the Olympia but the Arnold Sports Festival as one of the biggest events of the year.

And they now have their biggest acquisition yet.

Seven-time Mr. Olympia Phil Heath has confirmed that he will be working with Dany Garcia’s management team and has alluded to building a legacy under their guidance. The Generation Iron star appears to be looking for a fresh start with this signing.

This all but confirms that Phil Heath will be competing in a future Athleticon event, as confirmed by Generation Iron earlier this week. A major shift is happening in the bodybuilding game. It will be interesting to see what happens next.
