Phil Heath’s All Time Greatest Posing Routines

In honor of his recently awarded 7th Olympia title, we’re counting down Phil’s top 5 greatest moments in the game.

From the Olympia to the Arnold, and even one shoutout to the Sheru Classic, Phil Heath has been flexing with king-status strength and conditioning for about ten years straight now. We’ve compiled the top 5 posing routines here so that any Phil fan can come get their fill of this incredible, yet controversial, bodybuilding superstar.

5. 2017 Mr. Olympia

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoZjPsYpauE

Surprisingly, his routine at the most recent Mr. Olympia 2017 comes in at only 5th place! His body was insanely impressive and he walked away with the first place title that year. Listen to the commentator in this video if you want a more in-depth analysis, but we will say this: the traps and delts on Phil that year blew us away. But, his enormous gut really held him back, so ultimately, the 2017 Olympia’s posing routine landed in 5th place.

4. 2014 Mr. Olympia

2014 was a great year for Phil and the year he won his fourth Olympia title. It’s nice to see a little vintage Heath here, his conditioning is great, and his gut is a little more under control compared to 2017. This makes it into the fourth spot because of the conditioning, but also the routine itself: Phil has a little fun with this one, is a little humorous, and you can tell he’s really enjoying himself on the stage. Plus he looks like an absolute beast!

3. 2012 Sheru Classic

Seriously, you have to watch this one in 1080p to fully appreciate those insane muscle striations and that incredible conditioning. Phil’s back deserves a shoutout this year for looking absolutely incredible, and for packing on a mass and symmetrical form combined that no other bodybuilder could rival. And at the end Phil walks offstage and poses for the cameras near fans. Why? Because he’s a man of the people.

2. 2011 Mr. Olympia

Coming in at second place is the 2011 Mr. Olympia. This was one of Phil’s most triumphant Olympia wins. Some years it’s a close race, but in others, like this one, Phil’s mind-blowing body in combination with his strong condition just eviscerate all the competition. His glutes and quads looked the best they ever have this year, so even though his gut was a bit of a problem, this one still makes it to number two!

1. 2013 Arnold Classic Europe

This one is a must-watch for any Phil Heath fan. This is one of the most incredible pose routines of his career – and he didn’t even bring it out at an Olympia! Here, his conditioning is at some of the strongest level it’s ever been, his gut is as under control as it could be, and his upper back showed some of the most insane mass and definition of his career. But those aren’t the only muscle groups in this video that deserve attention – his hamstrings this year were equally impressive, and his thighs were enormous as always. And you can’t beat a mass monster like Phil flexing to Turn Down for What. You just can’t.
