World Record Powerlifter Stefanie Cohen is Getting Into Boxing and She’s Looking Sharp!

Stefanie Cohen is trying her hand at the sweet science of boxing.

In the recent months a ton has been made of the battle between Eddie Hall and Hafthor Bjornsson, and with good reason. Both strongman competitors are long time rivals who have a score to settle and have decided to do so in a boxing ring.

But while the story of these strongman competitors prepping for battle is intriguing, another interesting tale of a strength athlete heading into the realm of boxing has been catching steam.

World record holding powerlifter Dr. Stefanie Cohen is also looking to try her hand at the sweet science.

From the looks of things, Cohen isn’t just looking to dip her toes into the boxing game. In fact, it looks clear that she has the intention of competing.

Boxing progresssssss. Still don’t know what I’m doing but I know a littleeeee more than what I knew before. I feel like I’ve reached a level of athletic maturity that allows me to be patient, and really appreciate the journey, for that one day I won’t have it anymore. I’m running this machine to the ground. Whatever it takes.

Stefanie Cohen has dominated the powerlifting space, so it wouldn’t be surprising if she carried that same prowess into boxing. Little by little she’s making some solid progress.

Cohen even did some sparring and continues to embrace the boxing lifestyle.

One thing is certainly clear and that’s Stefanie Cohen is more than serious about venturing into the world of boxing.

What do you think of Stefanie Cohen and her new found goal of competitive boxing?
