REACTION! Conor McGregor Arrested, Releases First Statement Since Leaving Jail

Conor McGregor is in trouble again.

If you couldn’t tell by now, Conor McGregor has seemed to become a real crown jewel to society, staying out of trouble and avoiding the pitfalls that come with super stardom. That of course is how some people wish the Conor McGregor story played out. As of now, what we’re seeing is a man from humble beginnings become more and more entrenched in his troubles with the law.

Recently in Miami, Conor McGregor was arrested and charged with strong arm robbery and criminal mischief. McGregor allegedly slapped a cell phone out of a fan’s hand who was trying to take a picture of the MMA star. The victim, Ahmed Abdirzak, was exiting the Fountainebleu Hotel on Monday at 5:20 a.m. at the same time as McGregor when he hoped to take a picture of the UFC superstar with his cell phone. McGregor’s reaction to his photo being taken was allegedly not all that friendly. Conor McGregor allegedly slapped the phone out of his hand, stomped on it several times, then walked off with it.

Conor McGregor was released from jail at approximately 10 p.m. Monday night after posting a bond of $12,500. Conor McGregor released this statement in regards to the incident.

Now, this has become an increasingly common theme as far as the Conor McGregor saga is concerned. While no one is perfect, it seems clear that Conor McGregor may be dealing with some serious anger issues. A mistake here or there people will forgive, but now that these actions are becoming normalized it’s definitely becoming a problem. McGregor needs to hold himself to a higher standard, especially considering his status as one of, if not the most famous UFC star to ever compete. Actions like these put a black eye on the sport and it’s evident that McGregor needs to get a hold of himself before he hurts himself or someone else.

What do you think of Conor McGregor and his recent alleged criminal actions?
