RIP: Charles Poliquin Has Passed Away At 57

World renowned Canadian strength coach Charles Poliquin has passed away.

Sad news hits the bodybuilding world today as family and friends have announced that Charles Poliquin has passed away at age of 57. Charles died from a heart attack last night and the official announcement was made on his social media earlier today.

Charles trained numerous Olympic medalists and professional athletes and is known throughout the world for being the training mastermind behind creating faster and stronger athletes. He had trained athletes in over 17 different sports and competitive disciplines including NHL, NFL, speed skaters, long jumpers and much more.

On more of a direct bodybuilding connection – he is known for popularizing German Volume Training which is still widely used by many bodybuilders to this day.
