NDO Champ Confirms Celebrity Boxing Match With Roy Jones Jr. To Generation Iron

NDO Champ

Roy Jones Jr. will get a chance to take on his biggest opponent yet in NDO Champ!

Roy Jones Jr. is prepared to step back in the ring for a celebrity boxing match — and this time, it is against a much larger opponent. The former World Champion will take on bodybuilder Robert Wilmore, better known as NDO Champ, on Jan. 28 in Miami. The fight will consist of five, one-minute rounds.

Jones Jr. has not fought since taking on Mike Tyson is an exhibition bout back in November 2020. This fight was ruled a draw, which caused some controversy.

Roy Jones Jr. vs. NDO Champ

Roy Jones Jr. clearly has a better background heading into the fight. He competed in a total of five weight classes over the course of his career, and was a World champion in four of them. At 53 years old, he is not boxing competitively anymore but continues his passion for the sport by stepping in the ring.

NDO Champ is an IFBB bodybuilder and fitness star on social media. He is known for his massive physique and entertainment value but has dabbled in boxing before. Wilmore has gone through different trainings in the ring but has little experience. In a video on his YouTube page, he goes through a workout and spars with Andre Berto.

Speaking with Generation Iron, NDO Champ stated that he’s been waiting to announce this fight to the world for some time and excited that it’s now finally out in the open.

“I can’t wait to knock out Roy Jones Jr!” NDO Champ said to us in an official statement.

The tale of the tape will be an interesting one come fight night. Roy Jones Jr. will have the experience while NDO Champ brings the size and strength. We will have a chance to see how it all plays out come Jan. 28.
