Neckzilla will return to the stage in a loaded lineup during the Dubai Pro this weekend.
Men’s Open bodybuilder Rubiel Mosquera, known as “Neckzilla,” is scheduled to take the stage during the 2025 Dubai Pro this weekend. Ahead of the competition, he shared another massive physique update to send a message to the competition.
Mosquera last took the stage during the 2024 Dubai Pro, where he finished fourth. Mosquera took the same route as many bodybuilders nowadays, including Krizo. He began in the IFBB Elite Pro League and eventually made the move to NPC. He quickly earned his Pro Card and took the stage right away in Men’s Open.
Neckzilla competed at the 2023 EVLS Prague Pro just days after earning his Pro Card. Mosquera took the stage against some of the best in the world in Men’s Open. Neckzilla finished with the bronze medal behind Samson Dauda and Michal Krizo. Despite not winning the event, Mosquera stole the show with his insane size and potential.

Neckzilla Shares Update Ahead of Dubai Pro

Mosquera shared his latest physique update on Wednesday morning. He is currently in Dubai ahead of the show and nailing down every detail before hitting the stage.
“Trials taught us to resist, not to give up. We learned that giving up was not an option.”
There has been a lot of hype surrounding Neckzilla since he earned his Pro Card. He was scheduled to compete at the Arnold Classic in 2024 but was forced to pull his name out due to visa issues.
The Dubai Pro has the potential to be a big-time show in Men’s Open. Neckzilla will be up against the likes of Behrooz Tabani and William Bonac. Tabani was victorious during this show last year and will be looking to make it two in a row. Tonio Burton will also be in the mix following his win during the Legion Sports Fest Pro earlier in May.
Under the guidance of legendary bodybuilding coach Chris Cormier, Mosquera has continued to hone his craft. Cormier, who is also sponsored by Yava Labs along with Mosquera, has praised his dedication and work ethic. Cormier frequently highlights Mosquera’s incredible potential, noting that despite his already impressive performances, there is still plenty of room for improvement.
