Sam Sulek’s Grocery Store Haul

Sam Sulek brought his viewers into the grocery store for the first time in months to show what he typically buys during this phase of his bulk:
- 4 Uncle Ben’s Cheddar Broccoli Rice
- Minute White Rice
- Carb Balance Flour Tortillas
- Egg Whites
- Quaker Fruit & Cream Oatmeal
- 96% Lean Ground Beef
Sulek did not share how many calories he is currently eating but hinted at his weight being around 260 pounds. He is not jumping right into the numbers of old days where he just adds in calories. Sulek has become used to eating around 2,000 calories to shred that he will not make major jumps just yet.
“If I want to start gaining weight, I just have to eat a little more. I don’t have to jump from 2,000 to 4,000. It doesn’t make sense. If I did, I would see a substantial weight gain pretty quick but it wouldn’t be good weight.”
Sulek also discussed different dieting tips for others over the course of the video. He believes most guys might struggle with having enough calories within their diet to grow. If this is the case, the diet is not a problem but for others, they might have to dial back.
Ultimately, Sulek said to focus on how the scale is moving.
“I think most guys struggle with getting enough food in to grow in the first place. For 90% of guys, I’d say keep eating. Just make sure the scale is changing in the direction you want to go.”
