Dauda will enter the Arnold Classic UK with great motivation to put on a show in front of his friends and family, who he says have not seen him compete since the 2021 Arnold UK.

“You think I’m going to freaking disappoint? Come on, man. You know me better than that. I’m psyched out and I’m ready to go for this one. This one, for me, is personal. It’s for people that I love and people I care about. It’s UK, stand up. We have been representing you over seas for long enough. Having a show right here at some, sh*t, of course I wasn’t going to miss that for anything.”

Dauda battled Hadi Choopan during the final on Saturday night and came up just short. Dauda explained how he was “feeling ill” following the show due to his lack of body fat, leaving his body vulnerable to different illnesses. After a trip to the doctors, Dauda shared advice given to him.

Samson Dauda Shares Recent Health Update

Samson Dauda shared that he was able to hydrate and rest yesterday, which has helped his body return to full strength.

“Yesterday, I got some antibiotics because I got this grainy cough that is coming out of my chest and has been a bit sh*tty but finally coming out of it. I got some nice, good sleep. Finally been able to sleep last night.”

Doctors advised Dauda to rehydrate after drying out for the Arnold Classic. He has been drinking water constantly and this has helped in many ways.

“One advice the doctor gave me yesterday was I had to get hydrated fast. Obviously, I’m dehydrated from the weekend so I’ve been drinking a sh*tload of water just to get my rehydration back.

The more I’m drinking from yesterday, I’m feeling for it and the better I’m feeling, the more back to strength I’m feeling for it as well.”
