Supplement Review: Evlution Nutrition Lean Mode Powder

A Natural Alternative to the Chemically Stimulant Powders found elsewhere

Lean Mode Powder aims to promote weight loss through premium, natural ingredients and blends.

Introducing Lean Mode Powder

Whether you’re hitting the gym, casually going for a jog, or looking to lose weight fast Lean Mode Powder, a stimulant-free fat-burning miracle powder, really is your best friend.

What is it?

The blend uses natural ingredients to encourage fat from all areas of your body (even stubborn pouches and beer bellies) to convert to usable energy and fuel your day and workouts. The absence of stimulants is a beautiful alternative to other powders on the market, which wreak havoc on your body and liver. Lean Mode promises to improve your mood and metabolism, control your appetite, and raise your energy levels without giving you the jitters that characterize other caffeine laden weight loss powders.

Things to remember while using

Please note that this powder is not intended to replace multiple meals. Lean Mode Powder, like all weight loss powders, is delicious supplements to a healthy diet and exercise routine.

As you can tell, I’m already a big fan of Lean Mode, but we’re going to delve into a full review so you can make up your mind!

The taste and flavours of Lean Mode

Let’s break down the positives beginning with the Lean Mode Flavours. Lean Mode Powder is super simple to use and consume. Even the laziest or most chaotic person will be able to slot it into their routine in no time. You add one scoop of the powder to 1 or 1.5 cups of water and take 1-2 times a day 30-60 minutes before your meal. It’s as simple as having breakfast and dinner with a drink. It’s also delicious! Flavours include Peach Tea, furious grape, Blue Raiz, Fruit Punch, and Pink Lemonade. My personal favourite is Pink Lemonade. I found, like so many other users, that these drinks quelled my appetite, gave me energy, and stopped me from bloating. A lot of users claim the same experience and have noticed substantial weight loss as a result of this routine.

What does Lean Mode Powder claim?

Lean Mode Powder doesn’t use stimulants like diethylpropion and benzphetamine. If these big words scare you, they probably should. Following the banning of amphetamines by the FDA, these drugs stepped up to fill the gap. They carry the same problems of addiction, jitters, stress to the liver, and appetite suppression to an unhealthy level. These aren’t things you want in your body. Besides, most weight loss powders contain large amounts of caffeine. I love coffee (hit me with that almond milk) as much as the next guy, but the number of caffeine in weight loss powders is too much even for this undergraduate in exam season. Caffeine can cause rapid heartbeat, breathlessness, dizziness, shaking hands, and general feelings of anxiety.

This is, in general, the side effects most common in other weight loss powders- but not in Lean Mode! Lean Mode has trace amounts of caffeine in its green tea a green coffee bean extract, but not enough to cause any of these nasty side effects. It is worth noting that caffeine is proven to promote weight loss, so a little is a definite bonus in this powder.

Lean Mode Powder Ingredients

What is in Lean Mode Powder if it’s stimulant-free? How can weight loss be promoted with the absence of these chemicals? When we discuss what is in a weight loss powder, we often refer to the nutrient profile. This is the ratios and amounts of each nutrient and ingredient, and Lean Mode Powder has a simple and contained one. This keeps things clean and straightforward, with only five ingredients included in the powder.

Ingredients clinically proven to help weight loss

Let’s begin with the ingredients proven by clinical trials to be effective in promoting weight loss. The first ingredient is that of green tea extract and green coffee beans. These are thermogenesis inspiring extracts that are clinically proven to help weight loss. Thermogenesis is a fancy word to describe the process of hat production in living organisms. Everything you eat is either converted to energy that you burn off through exercise or general living or is stored as fat for future use. Heat in thermogenesis processes is just energy leaving your body. This is sometimes why you feel hot after an espresso- you’ve just told your body to fire up the furnace! Hence, having green tea and green bean extracts is a fabulous addition to any weight loss powder or routine. It’s also worth noting that green coffee beans contain more significant amounts of chlorogenic acids than regular coffee beans, which is thought to have substantial health benefits.

Lean Mode Powder also contained conjugated linoleic acid, or CLA. These are typically found in meat and dairy products (so this powder is not vegan-friendly). These acids are supposed to have anti-cancer benefits and, in clinical trials, showed a positive effect on the insulin response of diabetic animals. It’s a very talented little acid and is supposed to enhance fat-burning.

Does it give you more energy?

One of the biggest positives about this powder for me, as a student, worker, and ritual hiker, was the energy boost it afforded! This is primarily due to the inclusion of ACETYL-L – carnitine, which is an amino acid naturally produced by the body. By adding a little more, the powder gives a sustainable boost in energy, allowing you to exercise, function, and play for longer. This also improves alertness and improves brain activity.

The final notable and proven weight loss ingredient is that of the famous Garcinia Cambogia. Garcinia Cambogia has captured the weight loss world by storm, in part because of its exotic origins and orientalist charm. This extraction is grown in Sri Lanka, parts of Africa, and Malaysia. It contains hydroxycitric acid (HCA) that inhibits an enzyme your body uses to store fat. This means that excess calories are burnt off and not converted to hard-to-burn fat pockets. It also has been shown to correlate with serotonin levels meaning Garcinia Cambogia can enhance your mood and relieve stress (which is especially useful if you stress eat in any capacity).

Is it affordable?

My final positive to discuss is the affordability! Weight loss powders and tablets have a nasty habit of hitting the bank, with some powders costing upwards of $100.00 claiming to be ‘premium.’ For most of us, that’s a discouraging price tag. Lean Mode is an affordable alternative to this! It’s a generous serving size that will last over a month and is accessible to any budget.

I cannot advocate for Lean Model enough! This powder helped me control my appetite, gave me an energy boost, and didn’t give me the jitters or anxiety that characterises many other stimulants- rich brands.

The Cons

  • The company receives a health warning in 2017.
  • Ingredient amounts are smaller than those proven to have direct effects on weight loss

Obviously health warnings can be serious. However, since receiving a warning nearly 3 years ago, Lean Mode Powder and it’s proprietor, Evlution Nutrition, have had no further warnings or comments made about their practices. In addition, they were never charged and have been cleared by the FDA for commercial sale. Sometimes health warnings are just reminders of industry practices and Evlution Nutrition has proven itself, again and again, to align with health standards.

Still, no slimming or weight loss powder should be used by women who are pregnant, those with high blood pressure or medical disorders, anyone under the age of 18, or anyone is nursing. This is a universal case with protein and weight loss shakes and is in no way exclusive to this particular powder.

Lean Mode Powder is honest!

Secondly, the nutrient profile is very transparent and honest which is reassuring. However, it lists small amounts of the ingredients discussed above. These small amounts are notably smaller than the amounts used in clinical trials proving weight loss results. Arguably this is because Lean Mode is designed for long term use, and these extracts will ‘build up’ over time. It is unsafe to take more than 2 Powder shakes per day, and at this level the amount of Garcinia Cambogia, caffeine, and other acids is below test levels which proved weight loss effects. This is a scientific downside, and, yet, many users have still reported drops in weight, slimming down, and decrease in bulking.

Final Verdict

I am honestly a big fan of Lean Mode Powder. It’s quick and simple to use, filled with good quality ingredients, and doesn’t include nasty stimulants that leave you anxious and shaky. Lean Mode incorporates seamlessly into any routine ad can be bought at most health stores or online. It’s affordable and a great energy boost, which is especially useful for those of us constantly on the go. As long as users remember that weight loss shares should always be used in  accordance with safety recommendations, a healthy diet, and regular exercise regime, most users will see results within a short period of use.
