Sylvester Stallone is one of the most well-known action actors in the world — and this means maintaining an action-movie level physique year round. At 79 years old, Stallone has not slowed down. He might not share many videos from the gym but Stallone recently spoke on his mentality while working out and how it has helped him stay in the best shape possible at his age.

“Every year it gets harder and harder, but that’s why you gotta push harder and harder. Blood, sweat, and tears.”
Over the years, Stallone has pushed himself to the limits in order to create a super-human physique to play different roles on the big screen. He has used many different methods, including boxing training. In the video, it pans to a heavy bag while Stallone is discussing his most important aspect of training. And it is consistency.
The video shows Stallone holding the phone in a mirror while speaking on his thoughts about the gym. The calendar has now turned to the new year and many new gym goers have been working. Stallone has preached consistency and explained that is how to get the best results possible.

Sylvester Stallone Talks Gym Mentality
Sylvester Stallone admitted that he does not often make videos from the gym but felt the need to share his mindset when working out to get the best results possible.
“I haven’t done a video from the gym in a long time, but it’s kind of like a sanctuary, a church, where you pray to get better, to feel physically. So you have the strength to arrive at your goals really confident an ready to face any challenge. Anyway, keep punching.”
For nearly 50 years now, Stallone has been an inspiration to those wanting to improve their lifestyle and build. He is continuing to do so by preaching keys to success, especially when it comes to the gym.
Stallone has been known for his impressive physique. He burst onto the scene in 1976 after the release of “Rocky.” Stallone went onto star in five movies within the series. In the midst of the craze surrounding Stallone as Rocky Balboa, he continue to show off his carved exterior during “First Blood” as John Rambo.
Stallone is up there with the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno when thinking of chiseled actors known for their build.
