Injuries suck. That may a simplistic way of defining things, but in reality that’s the truth and saying otherwise is either a lie or a way of coping with the disastrous results. While we can shoehorn in a positive quote like “this injury has taught me a valuable lesson” or “I’ll only come back stronger after this” the reality is that you’re going to be sidelined for some time and it’s gonna suck.

When Calum von Moger first announced the news of his bicep injury, the bodybuilding world knew it would be bad. Any injury can be a setback to an individual’s goals. A bicep tear can absolutely destroy the gains that you’ve acquired through hard work and consistent training. Rather than just simply effecting your arm, a bicep tear can mean no upper body training whatsoever. Calum von Moger suffering this injury is a major setback to the goals he mapped out for himself in 2018. Now rather than focusing on obtaining a pro card, Calum will have to put all of his attention on rehabilitation.

With the injury happening almost six weeks ago, Calum von Moger has been taking a break from training post surgery. Over the holidays some partying and some changes eating habits have also affected Calum’s physique.

A recent YouTube video posted by Calum shows just how much damage the bicep tear has caused. Not only has his arm atrophied, his upper body has suffered the effects of Calum’s inability to training his other major body parts. Take a look at the video for the details.
