Anton Ratushnyi broke a record held by Arnold Schwarzenegger for nearly six decades.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is known as one of the best bodybuilders of all-time. To create this legacy, Arnold had to do a lot of winning and setting records. Recently, teenage bodybuilder Anton Ratushnyi was able to break one record that was held for 57 years.

In December, Ratushnyi became the youngest bodybuilder to earn at Pro Card at 19 years old. The NPC National Championships was held at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, TX in December. This is one of the biggest amateur competitions of the year and Ratushnyi impressed with his aesthetically-pleasing physique.

Ratushnyi became the youngest competitor to earn a Pro Card with a division title during Nationals. This marked his third victory at the NPC level.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was born and raised in Thal, Austria. He did his mandatory military service for Austria for a year in 1965 and then moved to America in 1968, at age 21, to further pursue his bodybuilding career. He had won Mr. Universe Europe in 1965, and the small amount of fame he generated from this was enough to propel his career to America.

In America, Schwarzenegger trained at Gold’s Gym under the eye of Joe Weider. Schwarzenegger won his first Mr. Olympia title in 1970, at  the age of 23, and remains the youngest person ever to win it. Arnold went on to win the Mr. Olympia title seven times total in total.

19-year-old Anton Ratushnyi earned his Pro Card in the Classic Physique division.

Anton Ratushnyi Draws Great Comparisons

Anton Ratushnyi has received plenty of attention at a young age because of his insane physique. During the NPC Nationals, the 19-year-old put on what might have been his best performance to date.

Ratushnyi has achieved great levels of symmetry in his physique at a young age. He will continue to improve as a poser and put on more muscle as he gets older and more established in the sport of bodybuilding. To this point, his potential is obvious and his Pro Card will allow him to train for his next set of goals.

Ratushnyi has found great success at a young age. He recently showed off his insane physique transformation that he began at just 16 years old.
