Terrence Ruffin’s resume speaks for itself. The two-time Arnold Classic champion remains a dominant force in the Classic Physique category. His most recent competitive success came in 2023 when he placed fifth at the Olympia and followed up with a victory at the Sheru Classic Pro. Ruffin suffered an elbow injury that kept him out of the 2024 Olympia.
Ruffin has healed up and is now ready to take the stage once again in Pittsburgh. Below, check out Ruffin’s latest day of eating.
Terrence Ruffin’s Full Day Of Eating
This current meal plan from Terrence Ruffin consists of six meals:
Meal 1
Ruffin begins his day with posing before taking in his first meal of the day. This will come before his day begins, giving him plenty of energy for what lies ahead.
- 70g Cream of Rice
- 20g Almond Butter
- Eggs
- Blueberries
“We’re going to eat this and then we’ll get to work.”
Meal 2
The second meal of the day is where Ruffin incorporates once of his favorite methods. He enjoys mixing in fruit with his protein and cream of rice.
- 100g Cream of Rice
- 1 scoop Protein Powder
- 80g Bananas OR 70g Blueberries
“The more fruits I can have in my diet, the better. Those last few weeks of prep kind of suck because you’re not having much of anything.”
Meal 3
Ruffin takes in his third meal following his workout and it mimics what he has done over the first two.
- 2 scoops Protein Powder
- 30g Cream of Rice
“I’m getting tired of protein and cream of rice to be honest with you but for right now, it’s okay. There’s a lot of protein throughout the day but we’re doing fine with this for years.”
Meal 4
Terrence Ruffin backs off the cream of rice at this point of his day. He begins to include other proteins, wuch as beef and chicken.
- 200g Chicken
- 150g Potatoes
- 100g Rice
- 50g Beets
“I really, really like a bit of food variety. Now, that’s going to slowly, slowly start to stop as I get closer to prep just because, for most people, what I notice, the leaner you get, the closer to showtime you get, the most sensitive your stomach becomes.”
Meal 5
For the penultimate meal of the day, Ruffin switches over to beef. As prep continues, he will remove one meal but for now, he makes sure to eat six. He will likely move to five meals and the beef might switch back to chicken.
- 200g Beef
- 200g Jasmine Rice
- 100g Beets
“Nothing fancy. I have beef later in the day because it’s more filling and slower digesting. As I get leaner, one of these meals may have to be removed. Maybe the beef switches to chicken.”
Meal 6
Terrence Ruffin ends his day with beef once again and will throw in a Fresca, which is his favorite soda.
- 200g Beef
- 150g Purple Sweet Potatoes
- 100g Rice
- 1 can Fresca
