Pro Football Bound?! The Rock Hints that He May Play in The XFL

The Rock is ready to play in the XFL?

That what it seems like anyway. After battling off sickness, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been back to work training hard in the gym. It’s apparent that The Rock simply can’t stay away from lifting for any long stretch of time.

Now that he’s back in the gym, it appears that The Rock is feeling more motivated than ever. An actor, former pro wrestler, and entertainer, The Rock has a natural inclination for putting on a show for the fans. But he also has an intense competitive spirit.

From a recent Instagram post it appears that The Rock is back in the gym for more than just fitness purposes. The WWE star has stated his desire to potentially compete in his newly acquired football property, the XFL.

Along with Dany Garcia, The Rock is co-owner of the XFL. Formerly owned by WWE head Vince McMahon, the XFL was established as an alternative to the NFL. Now it would seem that after his acquisition, The Rock is interested in testing his mettle on the gridiron.

Sweatin’ in paradise with my new XFL belt and extra motivation.

XFL is much more than a big business acquisition – it represents an idea.

The idea of opportunity.

As an owner of the XFL, that’s my priority – create opportunities for players to live out their dreams, feed their families and ball out – XFL style.

I was a good football player with great “upper body violence” as my coach, Ed Orgeron loved to call it ???, so maybe I’ll be the first owner in pro football history to actually suit up and play in the game.

No doubt, I’ll get my ass whupped ?but at least I’m goin’ out on my shield – XFL style?

What a wild, unpredictable journey life can be and I got nothing but excitement and gratitude to create these opportunities for other players and people ??

Dany Garcia and ownership let’s roll.
