These Are The Most Shredded and Massive Backs in Bodybuilding History! Who Had The Best?

The most shredded and massive backs in bodybuilding history!

Bodybuilding is more than just building up one particular body part. It’s all about putting in the hard work and dedication to build up every inch of the body in hopes of making a complete package. At the professional level a competitor must work on every little nuance in order to create a physique that is unmatched. Their fellow competitors are all going to do their best to highlight their own attributes, yet taking time to build up every part of the body is always necessary.

But one thing is true about a bodybuilding champion then it’s this: you can’t be an all time great if you have a weak back.

Whether judges put more emphasis on it or if it’s just the most difficult of body parts to build and is given more credit, the back is perhaps the single attribute that every Olympia champion has in common. If you step on stage than a less than shredded and massive back then you’re going to be hard pressed to pick up a victory.

Former Olympia champion Samir Bannout knew this well and cultivated a supremely shredded and massive back when he won the title back in 1983. Recently the former Olympia champion reposted an image of some of the best bodybuilding champions to ever compete in the sport, showcasing that they all had one thing in common: they all had shredded and massive backs. Take a look at the post below.
