Thiago Santisteban Signals His Return To Kuwait

It’s no secret that Santisteban is trained by one of the most important coaches on the Oxygen Gym team.

Ahmad Askar is one of the most important coaches of the Oxygen Gym team in Kuwait. Both he and Abdullah have been responsible for impressing the bodybuilding world in recent years. First with Big Ramy; then the transformation of Roelly Winklaar going from a promising athlete to a top 5 Olympia contender to the conquest of Sandow in 2018; and also the incredible transformation success story of Olympia champion Brandon Curry.

Thiago Santisteban, in addition to being a professional athlete for two years, has great challenges including type 1 diabetes which requires a different kind of extra attention in his contest prep. His first experience in Kuwait earned him the top 7 placing during his pro debut at Portugal Pro. Now he’s looking for the next step in his evolution – so he turned to  training in the off season in Kuwait with his coach Askar.

“AT KUWAIT, WE WORK WITH THE FAMILY. EVERYONE HELPs each other, RESPECT AND SHARE THEIR KNOWLEDGE TO ENLARGE THE TEAM, there is NO COMPETITION; IT IS PURE AND SIMPLE.”

Thiago Santisteban also affirms the importance of a good structure to be a professional athlete.

“EVEN TRAINING IN THE BEST ACADEMIES IN BRAZIL, IT IS ALWAYS IMPORTANT TO SEEK NEW stimulus AND DIFFERENTIATED TRAINING TECHNIQUES TO BE ALWAYS evolving.”

There were rumors of his return to Kuwait, but the information was finally confirmed in a post in his story this afternoon. The country is not a country of tourism, to visit it there has to be a purpose, invitation or even work, especially for Latinos coming from Brasil. And Santisteban seems to have pleased the sheikh by being invited again.
