Generation Iron, News, RecapA fond look back at this week in the GI Nation.

Welcome back GI Nation! It’s been about a week since the re-launch of our official blog, and while there was a hiccup or two, we are excited to move full steam ahead with more exciting fitness content and bodybuilding news. The future looks bright for the GI Nation.

But we know you have a busy schedule and sometimes it’s easy to lose track of things. That’s why we we’re rounding up all the articles from this week into one place for your reading pleasure – just in case you missed it.

1. Squats and Squats and Squats

One of our guest contributors, Geo Chang, stopped by to give us a little insight into one of the kings of all exercises: the squat. We might all understand that this is an essential exercise, but it’s always good to freshen up on some key points and information so you can master this vital asset in your workout routine.

2. Tap Into Your Inner Warrior

Sometimes even the most devoted to the iron lifestyle need some extra help to push through an intense workout. That’s why MuscleInk writer Andrew Oye has introduced his
“Iron, Intelligence, Inspiration” series to the GI Nation. A motivating exploration into the type of inspiring archetype you can possess during a workout. This first entry in the series highlights The Warrior – turning the gym into a battleground upon which you will wage war, conquering weights, dumbbells, and machines.

3. The Best of the Worst

In today’s market there are so many different ways to workout. There are difference machines, products, and routines that all claim to make you bigger, stronger, faster – and in less time than ever. We decided to highlight the top 5 fitness products that fail in spectacular fashion. Because, you know, it’s funny.

4. Eat at the Right Time, Build Better Muscles

Everyone knows that to build muscle you have to hit the gym hard. But the truth is there is so much more to building mass. Bodybuilding is a lifestyle – it requires dedication not only to a rigorous workout schedule, but also a solid diet schedule. Fitness nutrition can get very complicated with stats and numbers; so we simplify it so that you can start your journey to more effective eating – and to bigger muscle gain.

5. Kai Greene’s “BELIEVE” Seminar

We spread the news earlier this week that Kai green will be holding a personal seminar to a limited audience in New York City on August 9th. Tickets are still available – so check out the full post for details and a link to buy your seat today!
