Lee used a skinfold caliper to test his body fat percentage, which obviously isn’t the most accurate method, but the results can’t be too far off given what you can see in the video. His skin is stretched so tightly over the muscles the vascularity is insane; it’s like looking at a person in 4K definition in real life. The results? Lee currently weighs 140 pounds and is at 5% body fat – that’s a level of muscle definition that will make you go, “Wow.” Lee also shared that he’s willing to continue the project with more accurate methods, telling fans he would try with the “Hydrostatic test…Dexa…or Harpenden calliper” next time.
Lee has also learned a crucial lesson from his pro bodybuilder mentors: a full approach to fitness is best. Working out in the gym gives you great strength and definition, but the best of the best get involved with a variety of physical activities. Participating in other sports can really let you use your muscles and also allow you to enjoy the incredible physique you’ve built. He started pursuing fitness seriously at just 15 years old and since then has inspired fans around the world to take up the bodybuilding call. His YouTube, which currently has just over a million subscribers, is filled with helpful workouts, tips, and tricks to help someone maintain an elite level physique – even someone like Lee, who isn’t making big money on the IFBB stage.
In the follow-up test from his vlog, his doctor estimated that he was at 4% body fat. The average IFBB pro bodybuilder is at 2% or 3% body fat on competition day and usually hover between 10% and 15% during the off-season. His results are a clear indicator that he has what it takes to succeed in the sport and has great talent for someone of his age. It’s likely his work ethic will take him far as a bodybuilder – the sky’s the limit for this promising young athlete!
